Two killed in road accidents in Sharjah

Sharjah: Two persons were killed in two road accidents in Sharjah on Sunday, an official said on Monday.

In the first incident, a 41-year-old Mauritanian woman was killed instantly when his car overturned on Emirates Road.

Police said the cause of the accident was speeding.

In the second incident, a 31-year-old Bangladeshi was killed after being run over by a speeding car in industrial area.

The driver, who caused the accident, has been arrested for questioning.
