Dubai: Now commuters using taxis in Dubai can use the AliPay app to pay their taxi fares.
Passengers need to simply open the app on their mobile devices and scan the QR code to settle their fare.
Announcing this in a tweet today, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said: "You can now use #AliPay app to pay your taxi fare in #Dubai. All you have to do is open the app and scan the QR code, and the trip fare will be automatically deducted."
