Man dies in Dubai-Al Ain road crash

Dubai: An Asian man died and three others were injured when a minibus crashed into a pickup truck that was parked on the hard shoulder on the Dubai-Al Ain road on Tuesday.

Major Ali Al Naqbi, from the search and rescue department, said that a team from the difficult mission task force and a team from forensics and Dubai Civil Defence were at the site of the accident.

The minibus driver died, while two of his Asian passengers were injured and the pickup driver — an Arab — was severely injured.

The injured were taken to hospital, while the firefighters put out the fire that broke out due to the crash.
