Abu Dhabi: The working hours of private sector employees in the UAE will be reduced by two hours during Ramadan, according to a resolution issued by Saqr Gobash, Minister of Labour on Monday.

Working hours for federal government and ministry employees will be from 9am to 2pm during Ramadan, according to a resolution issued on Sunday by Humaid Mohammad Al Qutami, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

Both ministers congratulated President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Rulers of Emirates, government and people of the UAE, Arab and Islamic world on the advent of Ramadan.
