Organised by Gulf News and Being She, the Excellence Awards saw a rush of nominations since its announcement in April.

Dubai: Forty exceptional women from diverse domains will be honoured at the 2024 Excellence Awards at the Museum of the Future on Saturday, June 8.

Shaikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, the UAE’s first female minister, along with other dignitaries, will present the awards at the grand event organised by Gulf News and Being She. She will also deliver the keynote address at the event.

Platforms like the Excellence Awards serve not only as a celebration of women’s achievements but as a beacon of hope to strive for excellence and create a world where every woman’s potential is unleashed.

Excellence Awards 2024 is one of the many events and initiatives Gulf News and ‘Being She’ have been collaborating on to empower women and help them advance in their chosen careers.

The 2024 awards has seen keen participation from women from a variety of sectors including business, health, media, arts and technology, with nominations pouring in since its announcement in April.

Gulf News and Being She had appointed a distinguished jury comprising Dr Eesa Mohammed Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai; Ismail Al Naqi, Director General of the Free Zones Authority of Ajman; Shaikha Ebrahim Al Mutawa, Director of Hospitality Affairs in the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; Paras Shahdadpuri, Chairman of the Nikai Group of Companies; and Salima Gutieva, Vice President and Country Manager for the UAE at Visa, for Excellence Awards 2024.
