Organising a yacht experience in Dubai got easier for international travellers

For international visitors, organising a private yacht charter in Dubai often meant coordinating with multiple providers – from catering companies to water sports operators – before even stepping on board.

Gold’s Yacht, a Dubai-based premium yacht rental company, has introduced a new, consolidated service model designed to streamline the booking process. Travellers can now arrange yacht rentals, catering, water activities, event decorations, and transport logistics through a single point of contact.

The goal, according to CEO Sergey Rybnikov, is to make private yacht experiences more accessible and less time-consuming for travellers who may not be familiar with Dubai’s event planning landscape.

One booking, multiple services

Until now, visitors often had to separately source food services, water activity providers, and event organisers. The company has now announced the option to handle everything internally.

International travellers can select from a pre-arranged catering menu or request custom options suited to dietary needs. Water activities, including jet skiing and banana boat rides, can be added to a booking without needing to work with external vendors. For those planning celebrations or corporate events, full decoration packages are available, whether the group is 20 or 200 guests.

All arrangements are coordinated through one communication line, reducing the need for multiple bookings and confirmations.

Digital tools supporting the experience

An upgraded digital booking platform was also introduced to simplify the reservation process for travellers unfamiliar with local services.

From the first WhatsApp message via an official chat channel, the system uses smart automation to understand the client’s needs and instantly suggest the most suitable yachts. Within moments, a Yacht Charter Concierge team member joins the chat and shares an interactive showcase page – a dynamic, mobile-friendly overview with photos, specifications, video reviews and service add-ons for each yacht.

Once the client confirms their choice and selects additional services like catering or water sports, they receive a personalised live order tracking link. This digital link includes Uber service automated yacht location area input, up-to-date booking status and payment details, direct contact to the captain and personal manager, real-time location tracking, parking guidance without the need to open map apps, and a shareable link for inviting guests.

When it’s time to board, the captain simply scans a custom QR code containing all guest preferences, event details, and special requests – ensuring a smooth and personalised welcome.

The system gives travellers more visibility and control, even before arriving in Dubai. These tools, Rybnikov noted, were developed in response to a growing demand for tech-enabled travel coordination, especially for high-value services.

Dubai’s yacht boom goes global

This shift in expectations mirrors broader trends in Dubai’s evolution as one of the world’s fastest-growing tourism hubs.

According to Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, yacht-based experiences have surged by about 12 per cent over the past year, reflecting a growing demand for personalised marine leisure.

The city has made significant investments in digital infrastructure, smart mobility, and tourism innovation, aiming to deliver highly personalised, tech-supported experiences to international visitors. Now Dubai is positioning itself as a global model for digitally enhanced travel.

Gold’s Yacht, a luxury yacht rental in Dubai, operates a fleet of more than 150 yachts in Dubai Marina. The company has served clients from more than 50 countries, offering tailored maritime experiences. It has expanded its services to key yachting destinations in Mediterranean countries and the Caribbean Sea, including Miami.
