Anjuli Hollingworth and Jessica Ellerby, students of Dubai College, were both very excited to speak about their dance show today entitled Life's Dance. It is being organised to raise funds for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London, in memory of their teacher Terry Dean, founder of the Ballet Centre who died last year.

Said Hollingworth, "Dubai College has agreed to let us use their hall and stage for the day and some teachers also provided us technical assistance for this charity show."

The dancing duo have invited around 100 fellow students from the Ballet Centre to participate in the show. Being a senior student, Hollingworth wanted the juniors to be given a chance in the performance.

While the older students were preparing some additional dances to add variety to the programme, the juniors were rehearsing their exam pieces. "And they will be wearing their Royal Academy costumes today," she said.

There would be jazz, ballet, modern, tap and Irish dancing, choreographed and compiled by them. "It is love for our dancing teacher Terry Dean that we conceived this programme and want to remember her on this day," said Hollingworth, who has been learning ballet since childhood.

Organising the programme is their way of showing reverence and respect for their beloved teacher. For more information, call 04-3444398.
