House of Poetry marks memory of Shaikh Zayed

Abu Dhabi: The House of Poetry in Abu Dhabi organised a poetry evening to commemorate the memory of the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Various Emirati poets participated in the event, which was attended by Emirati and Arab expatriates.

Habib Al Sayegh, Head of the administrative section of the house of poetry, said that this event is held on an annual basis to commemorate the memory of the late founding father. He said that the event is held under the directives of Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative and Chairman of Emirates Heritage Club.
