Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has scrapped the green pass and EDE screening requirements for passengers from within the country to enter the emirate, from Monday, February 28.

The move is part of a slew of updated procedures to enter Abu Dhabi from within the UAE. The move was taken by the committee to ease COVID-19 curbs. The updates include scrapping the green pass status and removal of EDE screening devices at the entrances of Abu Dhabi.

However, the green pass will still be required to enter public spaces in Abu Dhabi, the authorities said.
