Omar Ahmed Al Marri, head of Public Relations Section at the Municipality said that a team of male and female employees of the municipality on Sunday started the umbrella distribution campaign, which will last several days.

“Our employees distribute the umbrellas to everyone with a smile by telling them: Dubai Municipality is with you to overcome the heat of the sun because you are in ‘Happy Dubai’,” he said.

Al Marri added that in addition to metro stations, the umbrellas have been distributed to the visitors at parks and beaches and the public praised the Dubai Municipality’s initiative.
