UAE, Nauru sign visa-exemption MoU

Abu Dhabi: Emirati holders of diplomatic, special, ordinary and VIP passports can now travel to Nauru for up to 90 days without the need to get pre-entry visas, it was announced on Wednesday.

The visa exemption came into effect on November 19.

Ahmad Saeed Elham Al Daheri, assistant undersecretary for Consular Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said the visa waiver comes after the UAE and Nauru signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on exempting Emirati holders of diplomatic, special, ordinary and VIP passports from pre-entry visas.
