Shaikh Abdullah shaves head to support children with cancer
Foreign Minister makes gesture for visit to Oncology Department at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain
Al Ain: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, on Sunday visited the Oncology Department at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain which is dedicated to treating cancer patients.
He visited Children's Cancer Ward at the hospital where he was briefed about healthcare services and treatment provided to children with caner who total 13 children with various types of cancer.
Shaikh Abdullah shaved his head as a gesture of solidarity with children with cancer.
He praised the level of healthcare provided to cancer patients at the hospital and the efforts exerted by the hospital administration to improve health services provided to patients to be on a par with prestigious treatment centres in the world.
