Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday received John Kerry, US Secretary of State.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed Kerry and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, friendship relations and cooperation between the UAE and the US were discussed and the best ways to enhance and develop them.
During the meeting, which was also attended by Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, the regional and international developments were also discussed, and points of view were exchanged regarding the latest developments in the region and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
John Kerry arrived in the UAE earlier on Thursday and was received by Shaikh Abdullah at the presidential airport.
