Dhahran: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived on Sunday in Dhahran to attend Joint Gulf Shield-1, a military exercise.
Shaikh Mohammad is attending the training at the invitation of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz.
The military drill will conclude on Monday in the presence of a number of leaders of friendly countries participating in the exercise.
Upon his arrival at the King Abdul Aziz Airbase, Shaikh Mohammad was received by Prince Saud Bin Nayef, Governor of Eastern Province, and other senior officials.
Also receiving Shaikh Mohammad were Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Shaikh Shakhbout Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
