The Ministry of Interior has launched the hashtag #Tolerance_Conference_2018 as the convening of the UAE International Conference on National Security and Elimination of Risks approaches.
Entitled, “Tolerance, Moderation and Dialogue in Facing Extremism,” the conference will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from March 5 to 6, 2018.
The hashtag aims to introduce the conference, its exceptional importance and inform the public about its activities and the most important discussions to be held as well as the most prominent speakers.
The conference will address the legal, political, religious, cultural, economic and social aspects of extremism, to create a comprehensive methodology to address and solve this problem, he added.
The two-day event represents a leading platform for leaders, decision-makers, scholars, experts and government and non-government organisations, to discuss concepts, challenges and strategies to combat extremism.
The conference is scheduled to witness a major dialogue session entitled ‘Tolerance, Mediation and Dialogue: Platforms for Peaceful Coexistence in a Multicultural Society’. It will also witness three panel discussions and an interactive session entitled “The UAE as a Leading Model in Spreading Tolerance and Enhancing Dialogue Concepts” as well as three panel sessions and 5 workshops.
