Abu Dhabi Customs foil smuggling attempt

Abu Dhabi: Inspectors from the Customs at the Abu Dhabi airport on Tuesday night foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of cannabis seeds weighing 257.83 grams by two passengers of Asian nationality.

One of the inspectors at Customs suspected two passengers arriving on a flight from Nepal. “When the two suspects underwent inspection, two bags of cannabis seeds weighing a total of 257.83 grams were found in their luggage,” according to a statement released yesterday.
