What does Institut Monte Rosa offer prospective students from the Middle East?

‘Individual care in a family-like environment’. Monte Rosa offers one of the most individualised educational experiences to students in Switzerland.

Tailor-made programmes and small classes (2 to 10 students) promote motivation and encourage students to take pleasure and pride in their work. In addition to creating the ideal learning environment, Monte Rosa provides an academic programme flexible enough to suit each student’s needs, for all to fully realise their potential.

How can parents and students get a first-hand experience of student life at the school?

Summer and Winter Holiday Courses are a great way to have a first-hand experience of student life at Monte Rosa.

Parents can enjoy the beauty of Lake Geneva region and visit many places of interest as their children participate in a memorable short-term course in a Swiss boarding school.

How many expat students reside at Monte Rosa, what is the demographic?

We welcome between 50 to 80 boarders, depending on the time of the year and study programme, with boys and girls aged between 6 to 18 years old.

Last summer, the school  welcomed over 30 different nationalities.

Please share some information on the popular courses offered at Monte Rosa.

To summarise our fields of education, we mainly provide:

- An International Section (tuition in English): Junior high school and High school programme

- A Trans-Academic programme: Business school and Hotel management school preparatory courses

- An intensive learning support programme for students with learning difficulties.
These programmes take place throughout the school year and can also be followed by terms or semesters. Shorter stays are also possible.

In addition to our Academic Year Programmes, we offer our famous Summer and Winter Holiday Courses.

What extracurricular activities are offered?

Easy access to the Swiss Alps and cities with major cultural points of interest enable a range of activities and excursions through the year. A comprehensive programme of sports and activities has been developed to encourage students to learn outside of the classroom and participate in activities that are not purely academic.

We offer a choice of over 50 activities such as horseback riding, skiing, water sports, team building activities, trekking, talent and fashion shows and more.
