Abu Dhabi: A delegation of five faculty members from various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will visit the UAE from September 5 to 7, said a press release issued by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

This follows the government of India’s decision to offer admissions to meritorious international students in the globally known IITs.

The delegation will interact with prospective candidates and share information about the entrance exams, admission procedures for international students, life at various IITs and future prospects.

An interactive meeting with students and parents will be held in Abu Dhabi at the India Social and Culture Centre (ISC) on September 5, 2016, from 7.30pm onwards.

Two sessions will be held in Dubai on September 6 and 7.

Details are available on http://www.cgidubai.org/category/news-media/. The interactive meetings will offer information on Joint Entrance Examination 2017 (JEE Advanced 2017) and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2017 (GATE 2017) to be conducted in the UAE for the admission in IITs.

Students from UAE will now appear for the JEE 2017 and GATE 2017 on the same day and at the same time as aspirants in India.
