COVID-19: Ras Al Khaimah halts in-person schooling

Dubai: The Ministry of Education and the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday decided to transfer studies in schools and nurseries in the governmental and private sectors of the emirate to a 100 per cent distance learning system until further notice.

The step is part of the measures being taken to control the spread of COVID-19. A number of emirates have taken steps to limit in-person classes to combat the pandemic.
