ATP Honours Day 2025: Students and mentors celebrate academic excellence and resilience in Dubai

ATP STEM Education hosted its much-awaited Honours Day last Sunday in Dubai, celebrating the academic excellence of more than 200 students who achieved outstanding scores in JEE, NEET, CAET (IIT Abu Dhabi), CBSE, ICSE, and ISC Board exams. The event saw participation from students, parents, educators, and distinguished guests from across the UAE academic community.

Chief guest Dr Thakur Mulchandani, Chairman of UAE Sahodaya Schools Complex (since 2022) and recipient of the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Outstanding Principal Award (2017), applauded the students’ dedication and academic rigour. He was joined by Pramod Mahajan, Principal and School Director of Sharjah Indian School and Board Member of the Sharjah Private Education Authority. With 32 plus years in education and multiple national and international honours, Mahajan shared deep insights into the evolving academic landscape.

The Guest of Honour, Anisha Arora, was also present at the celebration. With 27 plus years of experience across top schools in India and the UAE, Arora has been a guiding force in academic strategy and career counselling. A former Head of Department at DPS Sharjah, she was recently awarded the 2025 International Career Counselling Award by Yalla Schools.

Excellent academic results

The felicitation began with ATP’s JEE achievers, where an impressive 15 out of 28 students scored above the 90th percentile in JEE Main. In NEET, 3 out of 7 students delivered a strong performance, with several crossing key cutoffs, further cementing ATP’s reputation as a trusted name in exam preparation. ATP’s results, though from a comparatively smaller student pool, stand out sharply.

While larger institutions may share numbers aggregated across the entire GCC region, ATP’s focused, Dubai-based coaching has delivered outsized success, punching well above its weight.

The ceremony continued with the recognition of achievers in CAET (IIT Abu Dhabi), followed by segment-wise board felicitation for ISC Grade 12, CBSE Grade 12, CBSE Grade 10, and ICSE Grade 10.

The evening was further elevated by heartfelt speeches from ATP’s own UAE rank holders, including students who secured Rank 1, 2, and 3 in various streams. Their insights into preparation strategies, time management, and motivation were met with applause from fellow students and parents.

Holistic development

The felicitation segments were interspersed with vibrant cultural performances. Dance, music, and drama acts presented by ATP students brought energy and colour to the evening. What stood out was the perfect balance students have struck between academics and their passions, a reflection of ATP STEM Education’s philosophy of holistic development.

The event was not only a celebration of academic success but also a showcase of ATP’s unique educational approach, which combines rigorous academic mentoring with personal support and time management strategies. With IITian faculty, and hybrid learning options, ATP continues to emerge as a preferred institute for academic coaching across the UAE.

ATP Honours Day 2025 concluded with a standing ovation from parents and faculty, proud of the achievements and the potential of the next generation of leaders.
