Sharjah police arrest a man over furniture shop theft

Sharjah: Sharjah Police have arrested a Pakistani man on charges of stealing from a furniture shop in the industrial area, an official at Sharjah police said.

The official said that the suspect, who was identified as A.A.S, had broken the glass door of a furniture shop and stole some electric appliances from the shop.

After the arrest, the suspect confessed to his crime and told the police that the stolen goods were hidden in his house in Sharjah.

The suspect has been referred to the public prosecution for further action.
