Police arrest Filipino for killing compatriot

Sharjah police have arrested a Filipino man who allegedly killed a Filipina and left her body inside a car near Sharjah Industrial Area number 11.

Police were patrolling the area early on Saturday morning when they spotted an abandoned vehicle with the body of a woman inside.

Police arrested the man, believed to be the owner of the vehicle, before he was able to flee the country.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
