'I love Goa's beaches'

Mugdha Godse arrived on the modelling scene when she won the Gladrags contest in 2002.

She was later named Miss Perfect 10 in the 2004 Miss India contest.

After dominating the ramp and featuring in many TV commercials, Godse ventured into Bollywood with critically acclaimed filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, in which she has won critical and commercial praise.

In the film, she plays a model who never makes it to the top. Her performance has been appreciated and she is already being hailed as one of the hottest newcomers of 2008. Godse is expected to be seen in some big projects next year.

Favourite holiday destination: Goa

I love the vibe Goa (below) gives out and it is something I don't sense anywhere else. The place has a very relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, which helps me unwind and take a break from my busy life in Mumbai.

The beaches there are great and I can't wait to hit the water when I am there. After a nice swim, it's great to have some Goan food.

I love the fish curry Goa serves and this is another major draw for me. The best part about Goa is that it's not too far from Mumbai and so can be easily reached round the year.

Memorable moments in Goa

I have been visiting Goa for years now and every time I go there, I come back with loads of happy memories.

I believe that when you are with your best friends in Goa, all the moments spent there turn out to be memorable.

What not to do in Goa

You shouldn't go there for work — this place is only meant for people to relax and have fun in.

Three must-haves on a holiday

Cellphone, lip balm and credit card.

Any other favourite destination?

Any European destination would be welcome just because of its cool climate and scenic beauty.
