No iPad? Try Prestigio Multipad 7.0 Pro

Dubai: If you can’t afford an iPad, then try a Prestigio Multipad 7.0 Pro, which runs on Android 4.0 — 1GHz CPU and 512MB RAM, 4GB Internal Memory expandable to 32 GB. It also has a built-in camera and 2.0 USB.

Launched at the Gitex Shopper, the product has taken off with lots of people looking into it. It is retailed at Dh355 apiece and comes with a Dh25 gift voucher. Manoj Mordani, retail team manager of ASBIS Middle East, says, “We have started selling it from 12 noon and it is selling like a hot cake. All our salespersons are quite busy in attending customer queries and sale. In the first hour, we have sold more than 40 units and considering the first day, the first hour sale is quite good.”

The product comes in four models — Multipad 7.0 Prime priced at Dh399, Multipad 7.0 Ultra selling at Dh499 while the higher end ones — Multipad 5080 Pro and Multipad 9.7 Ultra comes with price tags of Dh599 and Dh899.
