Microsoft names new regional general manager

Dubai: Microsoft has appointed Sayed Hashish as regional general manager for Microsoft Gulf. In his new role, Sayed will oversee the company’s operations across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the UAE, driving strategic planning and shape growth initiatives to enable digital transformation across sectors in the region.

He takes over the reins from Samer Abu Ltaif who has held the position for six years, and was recently appointed president for Microsoft Middle East and Africa. Sayed joined Microsoft in 1998 and has spent over 10 years in Dubai. he has held key positions in the region, driving the company’s mission in empowering individuals and organisations to achieve more.
