Gitex Shopper has officially started

GITEX Shopper was officially opened on Saturday by His Highness Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority at 11am.

According to protocol, sales for tickets officially opened following his departure about 15 minutes ago. Queues which were snaking around the perimeter of the building are now moving and people are starting to come in.

Visitors standing at the front of the queue using newspaper to shield themselves from the sun say they have been waiting for a couple of hours in order to get early entry.

However visitors joining just the queue now hope it will only take about 15 minutes before they reach the ticket counter.

Queues are moving quickly now and people are streaming in.

Gitex Shopper has officialy started.
