Sony Mobiles announced the Xperia X line-up during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The new Xperia X range features the X, the X Performance, and the XA.
We got our hands on the Xperia X immediately after its launch, and here’s what we think about it.
The device features a 5-inch Full HD curved display and weighs a light 153g. Its colour options are white, graphic black, lime gold and – everyone’s favourite – rose gold.
You also have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button on the side.
The device runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Processor, with 3GB of RAM in both 32 and 64 variants and can house a microSD card of up to 200GB.
The Xperia X is powered by a 2620mAh battery that reportedly last for two days thanks to Sony’s smart battery management and Qnovo’s adaptive charging technology.
Since we didn’t have much time with it – we’ll have to trust you on this Sony, but we’ll let you guys know more in our in-depth review as soon as we have a long-term device in.
Since it's a Sony, it's got to have one of the best cameras around right? Right?
Sony seemed to think so as well. The camera on this thing is so smart that it supposedly predicts the next move.
It’s fitted with a 23MP rear camera that features something called a Predictive Hybrid Autofocus – that allows you to choose your subject and sit back while the camera predicts its movements.
Its front camera is a 13MP snapper that specialises in low light selfies and is capable of Full HD 1080p video recording.
The Xperia X together with the Xperia Performance and Xperia XA will be available in the UAE towards the end of May or early June.
