Dubai: Adobe Systems Incorporated, a leading global software and technology solutions provider, has launched Adobe Photoshop Elements 5, a major upgrade to the top-selling consumer photo editing software and Adobe Premiere Elements 3, a complete home video editing solution for Windows.

Available together in a single retail package, both products deliver a unique integrated functionality that allow users to do more with their photos and home videos.

"Digital photography has changed the way people capture moments and memories, and today's cameras and even camera phones have the potential to deliver some extraordinary results," said John Loiacono, senior vice-president of Creative Solutions Business Unit at Adobe.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 allows users to organise files, edit images easily and share photos in engaging and innovative ways, as well as providing them with quick, one-click fixes.

"Adobe Photoshop Elements provides end users the creative freedom to get more out of their digital camera, with the sophisticated and accessible editing features that the Photoshop name is famed for. The result is superior images that can be shared with family and friends in new, exciting, high impact ways - on the Web or in printed formats," he added.

A landmark upgrade to the world's best selling consumer video editing software 2, Adobe Premiere Elements 3 enables users to add professional quality effects and enhancements, and output to a wide variety of devices and formats - including Adobe Flash Video, the standard video format for popular social networking websites.

"We've radically simplified the user interface in this version while continuing to add powerful editing features to ensure that anyone can quickly become a high-impact videographer."

"With sharing video files across websites such as MySpace and Google Video, Adobe Premiere Elements arms even beginners with the accessible tools to make their compositions stand out from the crowd," said Loiacono.
