Dubai: Dibba have completed their foreign quartet with the signing of Brazilian striker Guilherme Schettine from Saudi Arabia’s Al Batin.

The 22-year-old former Atletico Paranaense and Santa Clara player joins Moroccan midfielders Driss Fettouhi, Yahya Jabrane, and Jordanian midfielder Yaseen Al Bakhit, under Brazilian coach Paolo Comelli.

There had been reports that Brazilian striker Bruno Mezenga had also joined Dibba from Turkey’s Eskisehirspor but the club have yet to confirm that deal and with only four foreigners allowed at each club, it now seems Schettine has either taken Mezenga’s spot or that one of the retained players Fettouhi and Al Bakhit could leave to make room.

Elsewhere, Kalba have added Croatian midfielder Antonio Perosevic from Hungary’s Puskas Akademia. The 26-year-old former Osijek player joins Romanian midfielder Florentin Matei from Croatia’s HNK Rijeka and Brazilian midfielder Alan Santos from Mexico’s Tigres, under Brazilian coach Jorvan Vieira. Kalba still have one more foreign vacancy to fill.

Meanwhile, Bani Yas are on the verge of making their first foreign signing of the summer under new Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurcic, with 27-year-old Colombian midfielder Michael Ortega set to join from Colombia’s Deportivo Pasto.

Ajman have also signed 28-year-old Nigerian forward Stanley Ohawuchi from Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadisiyah, and Sharjah are said to be closing in on Brazilian attacking midfielder Igor Coronado from Italy’s Palermo. If confirmed, Coronado would be only Sharjah’s second signing of the summer under coach Abdul Aziz Al Anbari after Cape Verdean winger Ryan Mendes.
