UAE volleyball team head for Slovenia
Dubai: The UAE national youth volleyball team leave on July 31 to Slovenia for a two weeks training camp in preparation for the Arab youth tournament in Syria and the GCC youth tournament in Kuwait from August 28 to September 6.
The team leave from Slovenia after ending the external training camp to Syria to participate in the Arab youth tournament which will be held in Damascus from August 15 to 25.
The youth team began training with 25 players at the Etisalat academy in Dubai at the beginning of July under coach Vesco Vukovic of Serbia with assistant coach Khalid Al Jessmy. The players were reduced to 15 for the Slovenia training camp.
The coach will dismiss three players out of the 15 he selected for the external training camp to play in Syria and Kuwait.
