UAE Under-17s beat Expat All-Stars 47-35

Dubai: The UAE Under-17 basketball team beat the UAE Expat All-Stars 47-35 in a UAE All-Star match in the Mena All-Star Games at Al Nasr Club on Saturday. The UAE U17’s Abdullah Abdullah won the game’s most valuable player (MVP) with 12 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

Elsewhere, in the Mena All-Star match Team Grey beat Team Black 64-58. Tunisia’s Haitham Saada won the MVP with 17 points, six rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal.

During intermissions, a three-point shooting contest and slam dunk competition were held.

Iran’s Mohammad Yousefvand beat the USA’s Jeff Dumolt in the slam dunk competition and Lebanon’s Ezzat Al Kaissi beat Egypt’s Abdul Rahman Saad in the three-point contest.
