Fujairah: Fujairah have re-appointed coach Ivan Hasek to replace Diego Maradona. The 54-year-old Czech formerly led the Wolves from 2014-2016. He will now replace the Argentine, who was sacked after failing to secure automatic promotion from the second tier last month.

Interim Abdullah Misfer eventually got them up via the play-offs, but the club have opted for Hasek to lead them permanently. Fujairah have already signed Brazilian midfielder Fernando Gabriel from Hatta and Algerian forward Mohammad Benyettou from Saudi Arabia’s Al Shabab.
