Dubai: Season four of the du Football Champions (duFC) will introduce du Talents, the Middle East’s first sports tech scouting platform, from November 10.

du Talents will expand scouting to all talents in the UAE and extend the reach of duFC, which has attracted over 21,500 players in its first three years.

The first of its kind digital scouting platform will enable talent of all ages to upload their profiles and highlights of their skills, while communicating directly with coaches, increasing their exposure and opportunities for scouting.

There will also be an expansion of the physical scouting platform as well, with the opening of a High Performance Centre in Abu Dhabi as well as extending the age groups to four, while introducing scouting for girls in Dubai.

duFC is a nationwide development platform for girls and boys aged 9-17 consisting of the Schools and Streets Cup, from which the best talents each season are selected for the La Liga High Performance Centre side, which tours Spain every summer, giving players the opportunity to get picked up by professional European clubs. With a new decree allowing expatriates to compete in UAE sport, local clubs are also taking an interest in the products of this programme.
