Dubai to host sports management and law event
Schormann, Al Kamali to deliver keynote speeches at AUE conference on Tuesday
Dubai: Dr. Klause Schormann and Mohammad Al Kamali will be the keynote speakers at the inaugural edition of the American University in the Emirates’ (AUE) international conference on Sports Management and Sports Law at the Murooj Rotana Hotel on Tuesday.
Held under the patronage of Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, the conference hopes to increase the relevance of sports management and law in the UAE and the region.
The welcome address will be delivered by Dr. Muthanna Abdul Razzaq, AUE President, before to the keynote addresses from Schormann and Al Kamali.
Schormann has been the President of the Union International De Pentathlon (UIPM) since 1993 while also serving as Chairman of the IOC’s sub-commission on Youth Olympic Games (YOG). Al Kamali is the General Secretary of the UAE National Olympic Committee (UAE NOC).
Some of the top minds associated with the field of sports management and law from across the world are attending the day-long conference, which is being organised by AUE as part of its campaign to increase the cultural awareness of sports in terms of rules, regulations, legislation and management.
