UAE snooker squad in Egypt for world championship

Dubai: The UAE snooker team has arrived in Sharm Al Shaikh in Egypt to participate in the Six-ball Snooker World Championship, which will be held between June 18 and 28 this month.

Five players — Mohammad Joker, Mohammad Shehab, Mohammad Al Shamsi, Saif Ketbi and Abdul Rahman Saif — along with Khalid Al Khaili, director of the UAE Billiards and Snooker Association and assistant secretary-general of the International Federation, attended a meeting of the International Federation to be held on the sidelines of the tournament.

The event has attracted a field of 174.
