The new team of Concept Martial Arts Professionals will comprise different nationalities and will take part in the most important combat competitions in the UAE.
"UAE nationals, Syrians, Egyptians, Russians and Irish have been united by the sports of Martial Arts and now compete under the flag of the UAE and with the support of Creative Concept," said Mohammad Abbas, vice president of the Martial Arts Academy Sport Club and former UAE Karate national team skipper.
"The Academy teaches students the best techniques in boxing, muay thai & kickboxing," said Igor Vassilyev, business development manager Creative Concept, who launched a new joint project with the Martial Arts Academy to sponsor a team of professional fighters to be based at the academy in Dubai.
Making names
"We want to make names for the professional players who are living in Dubai, so let us do it together and promote this popular and fast growing sport in our country," Abbas said.
Vladimir Burdun, founder of the team, said they are keen with the support of their partners to promote a healthy and competitive life-style and scope to bring the sport of martial arts to a high level.
