Dubai: The UAE's Faisal Khamis and Hong Kong's top bowler Wu Siu Hong continued their reign at the top of the Graded and Open divisions respectively at the end of the eleventh day of the Dubai International Bowling Tournament at the Dubai Bowling Centre.

On Sunday night, Asia's top ranked bowler Wu had managed to keep his position at the top of the Open division, thanks to his overnight average of 240.8. The UAE's Naif Oqab is still in second with his average of 239.6, while Hussain Al Suwaidi held on to third, thanks to his high series roll of 737 and an average of 237.

In fourth was UAE youngster Mahmoud Al Attar with an average of 234.8 and Filipino Biboy Rivera continued in fifth with 231.0.

In the Graded division, the leadership remained unchanged with Khamis' average of 218.7 good enough to stay ahead of Filipina Uella Marcial's 210.6 and Hashim Al Hashemi's 209.1.

Mohammad Habib of Kuwait was the biggest movement in the standings as he rolled the night's high series of 658 to climb into fourth with an average of 208.1 while USA's Adnan Ouakedi is in fifth with 207.0.

A cluster of bowlers including India's Jawahar Mehta, Michael Bruenjes of Germany, Zeid Tahhan of Jordan and Samantha Hannan of Great Britain continued putting pressure on the top board while occupying the lower positions but with healthy average scores.

The Dubai International Bowling Tournament is being held under the auspices of the Dubai Sports Council, with the finals scheduled for February 26.
