Dubai: There were contrasting results as the semi-final line-up was decided for the inaugural 2017 Dubai Snooker Tournament being held at the Dubai Snooker Club.
In Wednesday’s quarter-finals, top-ranked Mohammad Shehab and Khalid Al Kamali showed their class with emphatic 4-0 wins over Farhan Qamar and Ali Ghanem Al Amri respectively, while Abdul Rahman Saife’e and Habib Sabah ensured their entry into the last four with 4-1 wins over Wasim Mufty and Mohammad Sharif.
Shehab was scheduled to take on Sabah, while Al Kamali was drawn to face Saife’e in the two semi-finals that were to be held from 5pm on Friday. The final will be played at 4pm on Saturday.
Sponsored by Chocolate Advertising LLC, the inaugural edition of the Dubai Snooker Tournament attracted a field of more than 100 players from across the UAE.
