Dubai: The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) will be organising the fifth and final round of the 22ft Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race on Saturday.
Held under the aegis of the UAE Marine Sports Federation, the race will be the last one with more than 90 boats already confirmed.
The organising committee has started its preparations for the race with participants given a 3pm deadline for registration on Thursday.
The course too has been charted out with dhows required to skirt the Jumeirah coastline with a 2pm start. Skippers of boats have been informed that they need to be at the start line by 2pm for a 3pm flag-off.
