Dubai: The second round of the 60ft Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race that was postponed last week will now be held off the Mina Seyahi waters of Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) on Saturday.
This race will be ideal preparation for the season-ending 26th Al Gaffal Sir Bu Na’air Sailing Race that is scheduled to be held on May 21.
The organising committee for the traditional dhow sailing race has completed all preparations for the race, while laying down procedures and instructions for the smooth conduct of the event, organisers said.
Dhows will need to start assembling at the Atlantis Hotel from 11.30am with the flag-off scheduled for 1pm.
