Dubai: Petrofac emerged as the overall winners in the third Dubai Corporate Games, which took place at the American University last weekend. The company picked up seven gold medals (three in swimming and four in running) for the top honours.

The event, organised by High Five Events, saw two days of fierce competition where officials and executives from the corporate sector took part.

In team events, the American University teams were dominant, winning the gold medal in volleyball (men and mixed), basketball (women) and tennis (women).

Dragon boat race

Aramex swept the men's basketball and football competitions, while the Choueiri Group won the men's tennis competition.

Finally, in the Dragon boat race held on the lake of Dubai Internet City, Dubai Properties won the Open division, while Wunderman won the mixed division. Other medallists included players and teams from Omnicom Media Group, CCC, Abela, Nokia, BBDO, General Electric and Shuaa Capital.

Winners were presented with trophies and medals by Pierre Choueiri from the Choueiri Group (the title sponsors) and Bahi Rifai of High Five Events, the event organisers.
