Dubai: Visakh Vijayakumar of Our Own High School, Al Warqa'a, was named Best Athlete of the 16th Our Own Dubai Inter-School Athletics Meet and has set his eyes on participating in the Olympics.
"It is my dream to one day compete in the Olympics representing India," said Vijayakumar after breaking two records.
"I worked hard for four months under the guidance of school coach V. Shepherd.
"I am delighted with my timing in 100metres.
"Three years back I participated in this meet and had to be satisfied with a silver medal in long jump.
"So I was determined to win more medals this year," said the 12th Grade student, who idolises Hussain Bolt.
