Sharjah: Hosts New Indian Model School, Sharjah ‘B' team, outplayed Global English School, Al Ain, 50- 18 in the inaugural match of the 20th NIMS Sharjah Trophy Inter School Basketball Tournament at NIMS, Sharjah basketball court.
NIMS led 24-6 at half time. Ali Sirajuddin top scored for NIMS with 13 points. Layanas nine and Ajmal Iqbal eight were the other main scorers. The tournament was inaugurated by the host school's principal Shaik Jabbar Ali.

Our Own High School, Al Warqa, defeated NIMS, Dubai, 38-19 and St Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai, got the better of Winchester School, Dubai, 28-9.
