Kopitar enjoys career-best day as Los Angeles fight back from 3-0 down to win

Los Angeles: Anze Kopitar had a career-high five points and Jake Muzzin scored the tiebreaking power-play goal with 11:02 to play as the Los Angeles Kings rallied from an early three-goal deficit for a 6-4 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night.

Marian Gaborik had two goals and an assist, while Jeff Carter had a goal and three assists as the defending Stanley Cup champions avenged a loss in St. Louis on Tuesday with just their second win in seven games.

Kopitar had a goal and four assists, contributing on each of the Kings’ first five goals. Dwight King then scored from the red line with 7:54 left on a bizarre bounce over Martin Brodeur, capping a rough third start for St. Louis by the NHL’s career victories leader.
