The LG Super Racing Weekend descends on the Dubai Autodrome for the final round of the ten event series. The Dubai venue is the last on the LG Super Racing Weekend championship calendar which has included racing on some of the great circuits of Europe including Monza, Magny-Cours, Hockenheim, Brno, Donington, Imola and the legendary Spa-Francochamps.
The LG Super Racing Weekend provides a feast of horsepower and sound for race fans.
Pre-race testing started as early as Tuesday afternoon for teams to familiarise themselves with the intricacies of the Dubai circuit which is hosting international motorsport of this calibre for the first time.
Get set, go!
Official action starts at 9am on Wednesday with Free Practice for the Formula Renault Eurocup competitors and a host of Free Practice sessions for the FIA GT and FIA ETCC. The first qualifying sessions will take place in the early afternoon.
Thursday's action will include practice and qualifying sessions for both the FIA GT and the FIA ETCC. The highlight of the day should be the Formula Renault V6 Eurocup Grand starting at 10.35am, the first of two races for this class.
Friday will host the main races featuring the second heat of the Formula Renault before lunch followed by two heats of the FIA ETCC at 1.25pm and 2.30pm respectively.
To cap the weekend's racing the FIA GT series will get the green light at 3.30pm to start the 500km mini-endurance race that should last approximately three hours featuring pit stops and driver changes.
Throughout the weekend the user friendly series will offer spectators pit walks, autograph sessions, grid visits and parades to keep race fans entertained and interested throughout the three day proceedings.
