Abu Dhabi: Yas Marina Circuit officials have announced that there are fewer than 10 per cent of tickets remaining for the 2015 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which takes place on November 27-29.

Organisers say that they are well on course to sell out the full 60,000 capacity, with tickets sold out completely in some categories already, including The Lounge North, Abu Dhabi Hill and West Grandstand.

There is also limited availability remaining across individual ticket categories in both the West Grandstand and Marina Grandstand.

Space is also running out across the range of enhanced packages available in the corporate hospitality categories, including Al Diyhafa, Marsa Suites and Marsa Boxes, as companies and individuals rush to take advantage of the networking opportunities afforded at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix — the region’s largest business meeting.

The introduction of a celebrity chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli, creating a bespoke menu, with the added bonus of F1 legend Mark Webber on hand to meet and greet guests in the Marsa Boxes, has driven strong sales activity.

Other corporate hospitality packages — Marina Bay Suites, Al Dhiyafah and Al Jood, as well as the Paddock Club, Trackside and Sundown Terraces — are also witnessing a surge in demand to date, and those wishing to add value to their weekend experience are urged to act quickly.

Behind the scenes, preparations are well advanced, with the final maintenance programmes on schedule to welcome the 60,000 visitors from more than 170 countries arriving at the circuit next month.

All public areas are undergoing a facelift, with pre-build work on Oasis areas already started, as well as landscaping and other cosmetic improvements to ensure the best possible visitor experience.

“We have seen high demand for this year’s race already, and are down to our final 10 per cent of tickets available across the all packages,” said Al Tareq Al Ameri, Chief Executive Officer of Yas Marina Circuit. “Our corporate offering is even stronger than last year’s and we are seeing the enhanced packages doing really well with both local and international audiences. With less than six weeks remaining, we are on course to deliver a superb sporting and entertainment spectacle.

“For those that have yet to purchase, I would strongly urge them to do so before it’s too late as you won’t want to miss the 2015 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix,” Al Ameri said.

Tickets are available online at www.yasmarinacircuit.com and through the Yas Marina Circuit Call Centre (800 927) or +971 (0) 2 659 9800, as well as through all Etihad Shops and Virgin Megastores.
