London: Ferrari's Felipe Massa has said that he is hoping to take part in the final Formula One race of the season in Abu Dhabi.

TimesOnline reported that Massa, who suffered massive head injuries after being hit on the helmet by a flying bolt during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix in July, has not ruled out returning to the Formula One grid for Yas Marina Circuit race in November.

Massa said: "We'll see for Abu Dhabi; we'll need FIA authorisation. It depends on the test [of the F2007]. I perfectly remember how to drive. My worry isn't to immediately get a good lap time, but just to run again. In any case, you need a good car and a good set-up."

The Brazilian has been at Ferrari's headquarters in Maranello, Italy, for the past two days, where he has met team managers and worked on the car simulator.

The next step in his comeback is a test in a 2007-vintage Ferrari Formula One car, which is due to take place in the next couple of weeks.
