Dubai: The UAE's largest indoor sporting event, Dubai Sports World, is introducing even more sports and entertainment options to its two-month marathon of indoor sports organised by Dubai World Trade Centre in association with Dubai Sports Council (DSC) and Dubai Events and Promotion Establishment (DEPE).

Running throughout July and August, the event is being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, in the Arena and Shaikh Saeed Halls one, two and three, providing 25,000 square metres of dedicated space for sports.

In partnership with Magic Planet, the flagship brand from Majid Al Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment, there is now a six-metre high climbing wall, an indoor ice skating rink, a trampoline, a Euro-Bungee, and a plethora of exciting gaming zones complete with driving simulators.

Approximately 600 tonnes of sand and 6,600 square metres of astro-turf have been transported to the venue in preparation for the diverse range of sporting activities.

One of the venue's main attractions, the state of-the-art football and rugby pitch is already doubling up as a professional league venue as well a coaching facility.

Dubai Sports World is open seven days a week, from 6am to midnight during the month of July, and 6am to 3am until the end of August.
