Insurance Premier League draws 16 teams

Tournament will see a total of 31 matches spread over a month under floodlights at Fair Grounds Oval of Dubai Men’s College

Dubai: The third edition of the Insurance Premier League starting later this month has attracted a total of 16 teams.

The draw for the ‘IPL-3’ was conducted at the India Club earlier this week and the teams were drawn into four groups. The tournament will comprise of a total of 31 matches spread over a month under floodlights at the Fair Grounds Oval of Dubai Men’s College (DMC), Silicon Oasis.

This year the tournament is being held under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council (DCC). Ameen Farooq, Honorary General Secretary, DCC, was the chief guest along with Anil Kumar, Director, Nasco Insurance, and Rajagopal Sukumar, Managing Director, Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers.
