Scotland’s Dubai-based Alison Muirhead representing Jumeirah Golf Estates shot a second consecutive three-over-par 75 to lie tied 63rd in the $1 million Aramco Team Series — New York on Friday, played at the Glen Oaks Club, New York.
In the four-player Team event, Team Law, represented by Bronte Law (England), along with friend of JA The Resort, Jebel Ali Kelsey Macdonald (Scotland), JA Ambassador Amy Boulden (Wales) and amateur Jordan Ziegler shot a second round of 16-under to take a one-stroke lead at 31-under from Team Pace, captained by Lee-Anne Pace (South Africa) with five teams covering just two shots at the top of the leaderboard.

Stuart McMurdo, Director of Golf, JA The Resort, Jebel Ali, said: “It is great to see both Kelsey and Amy at the top of the Team event leaderboard in this Aramco event. Kelsey was in Dubai last week and will be with us next week warming up for the Dubai Moonlight Classic presented by EGA. We wish both Amy and Kelsey the best in the final round on Saturday.”
Muirhead is playing in World No. 1 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Nelly Korda’s team, who leads the individual event on nine-under, following a second round of 66 including six birdies and an eagle, with two dropped shots on her final two holes. Eight players are covered by three shots at the top of the leaderboard in the Individual event.
To complete Team N Korda are Ursula Wikstrom (Finland) and amateur Jeffrey Capazzi, who lie tied 13th.
Muirhead had an individual round of three birdies and six bogies over the par 72, 6,506 yard course. The 54-hole tournament has a prize fund of $800,000 for the team event and $200,000 for the individual event. The third and final round takes place on Saturday, with the leaders out last in Team format.
Muirhead tees off in Team Korda at 11.16am (New York time) with the leaders out last, Team Law, at 12.27pm.
